We live in litigious times, so I should say that content reflects only my opinions!

First whale fart
Here's the story of the first whale fart ever captured on film. Lovely. Bon appetit.

Here's a useful catalog of WAP sites, for those of you who really get into fiddling about with useless internet access on your phones. Slow? Here's a new definition of it!

Gorgeous fractals

Some really excellent fractals in the gallery on this site. I can't say that I'm necessarily going to buy the Ultra Fractal package, but I really like the results it gives.

Cheap web hosting
CheapWeb.us are the cheapest I've seen. This is a "looky here" rather than a recommendation, as I've not dealt with them personally. Got to be worth a look with prices starting at a dollar a month though...

A huge collection of amusingly named far Eastern products. Goon diapers? Shape Horny Remover?? Pocket Wetty??? You need to see this.

Beggaring belief

The Ideal Home Show throws up some strange stuff. The following, for example: the Internet Loo Roll Browser "allows you to search the Internet whilst sitting on the toilet and print out any pages you are interested in on your toilet roll".

Firstly, this is just wrong. Secondly, neat. Now you can literally wipe your arse with the opinions of those you disagree with. Although maybe this isn't the design objective.

If you're a map-and-aerial-photograph fiend like me then you'll love this one. I'll quote the site: "The TerraServer-USA Web site is one of the world's largest online databases, providing free public access to a vast data store of maps and aerial photographs of the United States". Excellent stuff for looking up your friends. This is it.

Maritime and Naval Museums in Britain and Ireland

Well don't just sit there like a Treen in a disabled spaceship - warm up yer Micra (or inferior substitute) and visit this lot. Over 300, all maritime.

Met Office

When scouting around the web for a reliable weather forecast don't overlook the daddy. The Met Office site is a good one, clear and detailed. Weather fiends form an orderly queue please.
